Photo upload & AI generation — coming soon

Five seats stand in for the 1–5 photos the generator will take at launch. The seats and the file control are switched off. Nothing on this page accepts a photo or returns a video.

At launch

What you get when Tiny Desk AI launches

When the generator opens, you bring one to five still photos for a short vertical meme. The frame is phone-first, 9:16, built around a single desk and a single microphone rather than a wide stage. Warm lamp light, a small wooden surface, and a quiet room are the look fans already know from Outstanding-style desk concerts.

It is not a live recording and not a stand-in for a real performance. You supply the photos. The tool is planned to place them in that desk-and-mic scene. Length, finish, and the pay-per-video price will be published when the generator is ready. This page does not take a card or charge anything today.

Tiny Desk AI is an independent project. It is not NPR, not an official Tiny Desk® series, and not endorsed by the artists associated with that concert format. Until launch, nothing is uploaded, no clip is rendered, and the seats above stay switched off.

Audience

Who this page is for

This page is for meme makers and short-form creators who want the desk-concert look: one desk, one mic, warm light, and a vertical frame that fits a phone. It is also for people who already know the Outstanding-style concert meme and want a photo-to-video way to sketch that scene from stills they already have.

Fans of that informal format can compare the sample illustrations with the lamp-lit setup they have in mind. The aim at launch is a desk-and-mic meme, not a full concert.

Today the only actions that work are reading and bookmarking. Upload, generation, and download open after the generator launches. Until then, this site is only the product explanation. No account is required, and no photo leaves your device, because the file control is disabled.

Sample look

Sample look: Outstanding-style desk concert

Sample look we’re aiming for: a close, vertical concert meme. One desk, one microphone, a warm lamp, a plant, and a quiet room — framed for a phone, 9:16, not a wide stage broadcast.

These covers are original illustrations of that setup. They are not finished videos, not recordings of real artists, and not output from the generator.

The first drawing puts a wooden desk under a warm lamp with a single microphone in front of an empty seat. The second keeps the same close crop and adds a plant, an open notebook, and headphones, the kind of objects that make a desk feel lived-in. The third is an empty stool in a warm wash of light, so the frame reads as a small stage even without a performer. None of these files is a clip, a likeness, or a generated result.

Preview samples arriving with launch. Sample looks and demos will ship beside the tool when generation goes live. Until then, the words and these illustrations are the description of the style, and they are all you can review. No sample file plays, because there is no clip on this page yet.

Three steps

How Tiny Desk AI works

Three steps, once the generator is live. It is launching soon — the sequence below is the plan, not a working tool.

  1. Upload

Bring 1–5 photos when the generator opens. The upload control on this page is disabled, and version 1 does not accept files.

  2. Generate

The tool will build a short 9:16 Outstanding-style desk-concert clip from those photos. Generation is launching soon. This page does not run a model or show a result.

  3. Download

A real file will be ready to save only after generation exists. There is no video to download today.

Read the steps as a plan, not as buttons that do the work. There is no queue, no account, and no render running behind this page. The file control stays disabled on purpose, and the seat buttons cannot be pressed. If you came here to make a clip today, the honest answer is that you cannot yet. Bookmark the page, compare the sample illustrations with the desk-concert meme you have in mind, and come back when launch notes replace this coming-soon state.

At launch the same three moves should stay easy to follow on a phone: choose a few stills, wait for a short vertical result, then save the file. Pay-per-video pricing will be stated then, in plain numbers, instead of a subscription. Until that day, this site only explains the independent generator. It does not create a meme, store a photo, or take payment.

Questions

Tiny Desk AI generator FAQ

Straight answers about this independent placeholder and the generator that is launching soon.

What is Tiny Desk AI?

It is an independent photo-to-video generator for Outstanding-style vertical concert meme clips. The full tool is launching soon on tiny-desk-ai.art. This page only describes the product. Nothing here creates a clip.

Is this an official NPR Tiny Desk tool?

No. tiny-desk-ai.art is an independent parody and meme project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NPR, Tiny Desk®, or the artists associated with that concert series. The note near the top of this page says the same thing.

What will the Tiny Desk AI generator do?

When it launches, you will upload one to five photos and receive a short 9:16 Outstanding-style desk-concert clip. Exact length and picture quality will be confirmed then. The generator does not do that work on this page today.

Can I upload photos and download a video today?

Not yet. Photo upload and AI generation are coming soon. This page is live so you can learn about the product while we finish the generator. No file is accepted, and there is no video to download.

Will there be sample videos?

Yes. Sample looks and short demos are planned to ship with the generator launch. This page already describes the Outstanding-style desk-concert look, and the illustrations show the desk, the lamp, and the microphone. Those drawings are not finished clips.

Is Tiny Desk AI free?

Launch pricing will be announced with the generator. Expect a simple pay-per-video price, not a subscription. This site does not take payment today, and there is no checkout.

Do you store my photos in version 1?

This placeholder site does not accept uploads, and it does not run a database for user photos. When generation launches, the privacy page will be updated before any file is stored. Version 1 has nothing to retain.

Why does the domain mention Tiny Desk?

The name points at the popular desk-concert meme format people already look for. The disclaimers stay in view: this project is not NPR and not an official Tiny Desk product. The word in the domain is a description of the look, not a claim of sponsorship.

Will you support mobile?

Yes. The site is laid out for phones and desktops. The generator, when it opens, is planned around the same vertical 9:16 frame you would watch on a phone.

How do I get updates?

Watch this site. Launch notes will appear on the homepage when the generator goes live. Until then, bookmark the page. There is no mailing list and no account to join.
